The Graveyard Book

The Graveyard Book can rather excite people especially children. The book was written by Neil Gaiman who has written novels like Coraline, Stardust, and many more. It's story involves a boy who after escaping his family killer grew up in the town's graveyard and was taken into the custody of the ghost's and Silas who is a being of neither alive or dead and is strongly believed to be a vampire. Nobody Owens or "Bod" grew up in the graveyard filled with adventures and excitement. The story is a fantasy themed book who inspires children to find their own faith and follow their rights.

I think that Neil Gaiman wanted to inspire the children of the world that the Graveyard Book is not some ordinary book that has or rather a minor meaning  to it but rather to search the very definition of the book because after I read it all over again I already found it's meaning.

Bod was only a baby that's not even close to being a toddler already crawled! He is rather curious and wants to widen his knowledge. But the ghost's is over - protective if Bod is involved. I mean every book has a meaning. And this book, The Graveyard Book has it's own meaning. That's what sparked my interest. Instead of writing another lesson that we all know by heart like "Follow the rules" etc. He broke his own rules and went outside in the graveyard. Defying his foster parent's warning and even passing through Silas! But in the end he learned his lesson. Still he went outside. True that not many people read books anymore because of movies and TV's, I still love to read book's because everyday I read book's, I learn everyday. So are you going to read?
